imagemeta is a web application that lets someone upload a set of JPEGs, set metadata across all of them at once, and download the tagged files as a ZIP.
Aipxperts built it over roughly four years. The engineering sits almost entirely in the processing pipeline rather than the interface, because writing EXIF data correctly and at volume is harder than it looks.
The problem
Image metadata matters to photographers, archivists and anyone publishing images at volume. GPS coordinates, keywords, author attribution and filenames are what make a library searchable and correctly credited later. The tools available meant doing it badly or slowly:

Setting a GPS location meant finding coordinates elsewhere and pasting them in, rather than picking a place.
Consistent keyword and author tagging across a shoot required repeating the same entry for every file.
There was no lightweight browser option, so a one-off job meant installing software.
The underlying difficulty is that EXIF is not a simple key-value store. It is a set of structured segments inside the file, and writing to them without corrupting the image requires a library that understands the format properly.
What we built
The product is deliberately narrow. Upload, set values once, download a ZIP. Everything hard is behind that.
A set of JPEGs uploaded together and processed as one job, rather than individually.
The user picks a location and the tool writes the coordinates, removing the separate coordinate-hunting step.
Up to ten keywords applied across the batch in one action.
Author name written into the metadata so credit travels with the file.
Consistent naming applied across the set alongside the metadata.
The whole tagged batch returned as a single archive.
A free tier capped at 2MB per JPEG, with an upgrade lifting the limit.
The outcome
For anyone processing a shoot rather than a photograph, that is the difference between a task measured in hours and one measured in a single upload.
