iTimePunch Plus is a time and attendance platform for small businesses, covering up to several hundred employees per account.
Aipxperts has built and maintained it for roughly twelve years, across the employee portal, the manager and administrator backend, the REST API and the scheduled jobs that keep reporting current. Native iOS and Android applications sit on top of the same API.
The problem
Before the platform, small businesses tracked attendance on paper or through manual entry, which creates a specific and well-known failure: buddy punching. One employee clocks in for another, and there is no evidence either way. The wider problem is that unverified hours poison everything downstream:
Payroll is calculated from data nobody can substantiate.
A disputed shift becomes one person's word against another's, with no record to settle it.
Managers have no live view of attendance, so absence is discovered rather than known.
Overtime is calculated after the fact from records assembled by hand.
For a business with fifty staff on shifts, a few disputed hours a week is a real cost and a recurring management distraction.
What we built
The platform's core idea is simple and the execution is where twelve years went. A punch carries a location and, optionally, a photograph. Everything else, timesheets, overtime, reporting, payroll export, is derived from records that can be checked.
Clock-in and clock-out carrying location and an optional photograph, which is what makes buddy punching detectable rather than theoretical.
Managers see where punches happened rather than reading coordinates.
Weekly and daily reports with overtime calculated by rule, not by hand.
The exceptions to normal hours handled in the same system as the hours themselves.
Travel and costs recorded against the employee record.
Time attributed to specific jobs, which turns attendance data into billing data for businesses that charge by the hour.
Console cron tasks keeping reports and aggregates current without manual generation.
Delegated management for businesses where one person cannot approve everything.
The outcome
The result worth stating plainly is longevity. This platform has been in continuous production and continuous development for around twelve years, which for small-business software is unusual and is itself the strongest quality signal on the page.
